Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington

Seasonal French cuisine and some fabulous wine matching from their extensive list. Especially for Valentine’s Day, you’ll be treated to a luxurious five course feast (£45pp) courtesy of chef Raphael Grima accompanied by 20 paired wines! We like the sound of the Smoked Mozzarella with Beetroot and Red Onions, as well as the Roast Fillet of Duck with caramelised endives and Spanish sherry. Then indulge in a romantic Macaron Heart dessert served with Fresh Raspberry Coulis. The set menu also includes a glass of champagne. Available from 6pm on 14th February.
Strand Palace Hotel
Indulge in the new Indian Love Bites menu this Valentine’s at Dawaat Indian Restaurant within the Strand Palace Hotel. Created by award-winning Asharaf Valappil, the collection of small plate dishes including Chicken Malai, Sukkah Jinga Tiger Prawn, Chicken Vindaloo and Kashmiri Lamb chops, you’ll be taken on a culinary journey around India without having to leave the table. At £39pp, including a range of dishes and a Chocolate and Strawberry Cheesecake dessert, the Love Bites menu is available on Valentine’s Day from 12pm-11pm served with a Strawberry Bellini. Plan an overnight stay at the Strand Palace Hotel for an unforgettable evening, or treat your other half to Valentine’s Afternoon Tea available daily from 12pm-5.30pm for just £30 per person, also served with a strawberry bellini.
Take part in an intimate two hour workshop in Farmacy’s private dining room on this Valentine’s Day for tantra, cocktails and coffee with Katia Boustani, Master Breathwork Trainer. From 7-9pm, couples will learn how to connect with each on a deeper level using ‘breath energy’. For £110 per couple, the session includes an introduction, an Aphrodite Rose cocktail each and lessons in simple tantric exercises as well as exploring how to increase libido and sex drive.
This Mayfair tapas institution is the perfect place to treat your Valentine with a seductive menu in place designed especially for couples to share. With a special menu (£26.50pp) created by head chef Rosendo Simbana, start with a glass of Cava before the dishes are served. There’s Fresh Grilled Cod (Bacalao Fresco con Pisto), Iberian Pork Shoulder with Roasted Peppers (Presa Iberica) along with Spanish Bread Pudding, Fresh Fruits and Ice Cream for dessert (Torrija con Frutas Frescas y Helado). The 5* London Hotel, One Aldwych really knows how to spoil. With their Film & Fizz afternoons and evenings, in association with Curzon, you can catch new movies as well as the classics, all shown in their luxurious 30-seat Screening Room. Timed perfectly, they will be showing Breakfast at Tiffany’s on Sunday 12th and Tuesday 14th February for Valentines. Breaking the mould this Valentine’s Day, Mondrian London is offering couples the chance to create their own abstract piece of art. The collaboration with experiential brand Love and Paint will offer a unique hotel experience after couples have checked in to their sumptuous suite. Each room will have a stylish Love and Paint kit containing a black linen canvas, body paints and a signature artist brush and slippers to get inventive with. Available from £854 based on two people sharing and including, suite, kit, bottle of Perrier Jouët, full English breakfast at Sea Containers or in-room, sharing dinner menu, late check out until 2pm. Executive chef Steve Gibbs has executed the perfect menu (£75pp) for Valentine’s Day which starts with a romantic Rose Petal cocktail and an amuse bouche of Tempura Oysters. With the Town House’s Marinated Salmon served with Avocado Salsa, along with Slow Cooked Neck of Cornish Lamb, artichokes and wood roasted peperonata, you’ll get to end to the evening with The Town House’s delicious Caramelised Banana, served with Honeycomb, Rum and Raisin Ice Cream. Celebrate Valentine’s Day in central London at the five star boutique hotel The Arch London. Just one floor above Sushisamba and offering more incredible views, the Valentine’s Day menu from chef director Dan Doherty includes a selection of perfect sharing plates for £85. Be sure to try the P.S Olive You cocktail from mixologist Richard Wood – a perfect blend of olive leaf Bombay Sapphire, Campari, rose petal apertivo and vermouth blend (£14).
A decadent four course dinner awaits at The Restaurant at The Sanderson priced at £65pp and including a glass of ice cold Perrier Jouet Champagne. With both an A la carte menu on offer and the special Valentine’s menu with Roasted Barley Risotto and an exquisite Foie Gras, the Long Bar will also be offering up the Love Cosmo – a blend of Ketel One Citron, Cointreau, cranberry juice and lime, for the month of February. Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester
Go all out with at the three Michelin starred restaurant and feast on a fabulous five course bespoke menu along with a glass of Rose Champagne at £215pp. Exclusively created for the menu, indulge in the Heart for Two dessert designed by pastry chef Angelo Ercolano which is made of two unique halves of chocolate and passion fruit. For the most lavish of treats, the Dom Pérignon Experience for two includes five courses along with a bottle of 2006 Dom Pérignon priced at £590 for two. Both menus available only on 14th February.
