The new Helly Hansen AW15 training collection is stylishly comfortable with beautiful fabrics, colours and designs.
I am wearing (as pictured) a few new pieces in my training collection kit – starting with the Helly Hansen Aspire Norviz tights, which give you the protection you need for those cold weather training sessions.
The fabric at the back of the leg reflects light and shine to keep you visible in darkness. 360 degree reflective is added for your safety, while a sweat proof back pocket for your electronics is added for your comfort. Style and design features include X-Cool quick dry fabric, supportive main stretch fabric, all-over reflective fabric detail and 360 degree reflectivity. Attention to details with the HH® logo on the thigh and YKK® quality zippers, give the tights a unique Helly Hansen signature stylish touch.
The fabric against my skin feels so smooth and silky. I really do know I’m wearing a luxe pair of running tights when the fabric doesn’t rub uncomfortably against my skin. Pick up a pair of the W Aspire Norviz Tights with an RRP of £69.
This AW15 season, my favourite Helly Hansen piece is the W Aspire Jacket (RRP £90) as pictured – a light and stylish performance running jacket for ambitious runners. The lightweight X-Cool quick-dry fabric sheds the wind and rain so you stay comfortable during your run. Features include a drawcord at the waist and a hood. I like this jacket as it’s great to roll up and throw into my gym kit bag and is so handy for those Autumn/ Winter showers to protect you from getting wet. Don’t be fooled by the lightweight fabric -this jacket is great to keep you warm enough from windy weather during outside running cardio sessions. And if you get hot and sweaty just take it off and wrap it stylishly around your waist. It’s also lightweight so won’t weigh you down.
The baselayer top W HH Active Flow 1/2 zip (RRP £45) is also great for outdoor training sessions. HH Active is an advanced construction combining Lifa Stay Dry Technology and fast wicking fibres, making it ideal as an all-year activity baselayer. Staying dry is important in order to stay comfortable. In addition, this shirt is constructed with a relaxed fit, making it just as great to wear as a casual piece.
Features include : LIFA Flow Technology; 1/2 Zip chest construction; Flat Lock Stitches; Polyester Exterior & Lifa Stay Dry technology. W HH Active Flow 1/2 Zip (RRP £45).
On my feet (as pictured) I’m wearing the W Rohkun trainer (RRP £110) for women, which is a versatile all-around trail runner, perfect for fall and winter. Featuring high-vis reflective, this lightweight, seamless running shoe provides great fit thanks to its asymmetric upper, double layer breathable mesh, and tailored support structure. The midsole features our C-Zone cushioning technology, while the outsole boasts both HellyWear heel rubber, and a HellyGrip sticky compound in the forefoot.
