The luxury lifestyle comes at a cost – and this is certainly true for some more than others.  If you’re struggling to keep up with your own expensive tastes, have no fear – there are plenty of options for you.  Sales, bonuses, coupons and discounts all keep you living the high life on a budget.

Everyone is familiar with sales; they’ve been around since the advent of shopping.  These days, we also have the internet so the best way to keep up with the biggest sales is to sign yourself up to the mailing lists of your favourite brands.  Most email providers these days have separate folders for promotions, so they won’t clog up your inbox.

Many places will reward you simply for using their website or shop.  Boots Advantage cards, for example, give customers bonuses and rewards based on how loyal they are.

But what about bonuses with no strings attached?  With the rise of the online casino industry, you’ll find entertainment sites are more than willing to give no deposit sign-up bonuses.  A no deposit bonus is free casino credit that players can use without having to fork over any actual money – and they’re used to get new players started.  Ideal if you want to live that Vegas life without actually going all the way to the USA.

You don’t have to cut out coupons from a magazine and take them into shops anymore.  Coupons these days are often found online, simply by Googling the name of the place you’re looking to shop at followed by “coupons” or “vouchers”.

Whenever you get to the checkout of an online store and it says “enter promo code”, check on Google if there’s one you can use.  Look at their social media accounts as well, just in case they’ve entered one there.  You’ll never pay full price for a takeaway again!

Finally, don’t forget sites like Groupon, Wowcher and Virgin Red.  If you’re wanting to get a beauty treatment, find a hotel or buy someone a gift, you often don’t have to pay full price.  Get your coupon from one of these places instead.

These days it’s hard to afford life’s little luxuries when salaries aren’t really rising but prices are.  When you want to make some savings on a more long-term basis, it might be worth signing up to membership schemes.

If you’re a student or under the age of 30, there are various youth cards, student cards and even travel cards like the 16-25 and millennials railcard scheme.

Then there’s dining.  The Taste Card, Gourmet Society and Hi-Life cards all offer a range of different food options for half price or on a buy-one-get-one-free basis.  There are certain things it’s worth knowing to further maximise the savings.

And what about holidays?  More and more of us are travelling internationally and exploring the world.  Why pay full price?  There are an array of discount clubs online for finding luxury resorts for a fraction of the cost.  Sign up to find the best deals.

Luxury living often comes with a price tag but that doesn’t mean it’s only for the select few.  There are plenty of ways around it for people just like you!
