London’s Luxurious Ritz Club Teams Up With Software Specialist To Bring Live Casino To Guests
August 17, 2016
The exclusive, members-only club at the Ritz Hotel in London has inked an exclusive deal with a live casino developer based in the Latvian capital of Riga. The deal will allow members of the club to access VIP Roulette, Dual Play Roulette, VIP Blackjack, Baccarat Squeeze and Three Card Poker in the comfort of their own hotel rooms, while all games will be broadcast live from the Riga location.
The new online feature, exclusively for Ritz Club members is expected to go live later this year. Final touches are being made in order for the online service to look and feel similar to The Ritz Club’s 24/7 brick-and-mortar casino gaming establishment.
The online service, being a VIP option, will most likely not present a free gaming option, which is prevalent with most online gaming services. Gala Bingo, for one, which also offers a live gaming option, provides free bingo gaming sessions to new customers who want to feel what it’s like playing online with others without the competiveness of playing for actual money.
Ritz Club’s online portal which will host a slew of live casino games will be distinctly branded through a proprietary software that will reflect the level of service that Ritz Carlton is widely known for.
“We are honoured to be working with The Ritz Club, a name synonymous with exclusivity, luxury, and the very essence of fine gaming,” said Fredik Osterberg, the chief strategy officer of Ritz’ online casino partner. “Convergence is increasingly important in the land-based sector, and our Dual Play Roulette will afford The Ritz Club’s membership access to a private online table that sits at the very heart of their favourite club, and much more besides.”
The Ritz Club itself is a casino in the basement level of the world-renowned The Ritz Hotel, London, which occupies the space that was been formerly known as the Ritz Bar and Grill. It offers several table games including roulette, baccarat, blackjack, as well as slot machines. Being an exclusive VIP club, guests are always encouraged to wear something that adheres to the smart casual look before entering.
The club is open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, with its restaurant serving breakfast from 8am-11am, and lunch and dinner from 11am-2am. Membership at The Ritz Club is open to guests over the age of 18. Life memberships cost £1,000.
