Roland Mouret to Return to London Fashion Week to Celebrate 20th Anniversary
December 21, 2016
Twenty years after starting his design career, the talented Roland Mouret will return to the capital to showcase his label’s Autumn/Winter Resort 2017 collection during London Fashion Week in February.
The french-born designer has been showing his beautiful designs in Paris for the past 10 years and his return to London will mark the start of a year-long twentieth anniversary celebration.
This year marked the tenth anniversary of Mouret’s legendary Galaxy dress, which has been popular amongst some of the world’s most famous women including Halle Berry, Cameron Diaz, Scarlett Johansson and Victoria Beckham since its debut in 2005.
To mark the momentous occasion, the designer has launched a commemorative collection called Galaxy Ten, which includes the dress, a jumpsuit, top, skirt and jacket.
“I love that London is my creative home and over half my manufacturing base is in Britain – I wouldn’t be able to do what I do anywhere else other than London,” said Mouret. “London is my home, it’s where my brand has its heart and I’m excited to celebrate such an important milestone here.” The Spring/Summer 2018 show will also be presented in London.
London Fashion Week will take place from 17-21 February 2017 at its new home of The Store Studios, 18 Strand.
