Despite his celebrity status, Matt isn’t one for the celebrity fads though.  His focus is on tried and tested methods to produce the best results, whilst putting the client and their experience at the centre of the service.  So, setting his three day retreat against the backdrop of a heritage brand like The Gleneagles hotel, beautifully placed in the Scottish countryside and arguably the last word in 5 star service, is a real marriage made in heaven.

Don’t be fooled by the luxury setting though.  This IS a fitness retreat and sessions are tough (as they should be.)  With 11 sessions including HIIT, running interval training and resistance training to name a few, Matt will push you out of your comfort zone and into the fat burning zone.  Yes, he will push you to your limits, but with the nutritionally balanced, beautifully presented and utterly delicious meals cooked up by Gleneagles’ finest you’ll be refueled and begging for your next session.  Highlights include the early morning runs through the mist in the grounds of the hotel, the unmissable trek up Ben Shee to take in the breathtaking views of the Scottish Countryside, and spa treatments that will make you melt.  Top it all off by eating your fruit platter from the comfort of your roll top bath at the end of the day.

The Matt Roberts retreat can’t promise you a body like The Saturdays in just 3 days (and it doesn’t), what it does promise is a kick start to your fitness, time to re-evaluate your diet, the opportunity to learn to make healthy lifestyle choices, and most importantly a place to reconnect with your body.

The Matt Roberts Retreat runs for 3 days, 2 nights starting Friday 30th September.  Prices include accommodation, all meals, 2 x 55 min spa treatments, 1 trek, 11 fitness sessions and 3 mindfulness sessions. Prices start from £1350 for 2 nights for a single occupancy room or £2220 for double occupancy.
