An Exclusive Stay at Ballymore’s Luxurious Providence Tower – Now Available to Buy

November 8, 2016

Luxuria Lifestyle have partnered with property developer Ballymore to mark the launch of ‘Top Three Floors’, a collection of eight new luxury, ready-to-move into apartments, close to Canary Wharf.  As part of the partnership, we got a sneak peek into the gorgeous Providence Tower and spent a weekend experiencing all that the area has to offer.  We staycationed in the beautifully dressed show apartment on the 40th floor and it was a great way to familiarise ourselves with Canary Wharf.  By the time Sunday rolled around, we didn’t want to leave!  If we were on the hunt for a lavish new home, we wouldn’t look any further than Ballymore’s gorgeous apartments in Canary Wharf and here’s why:

Providence Tower

We had the privilege of staying in the stunning show apartment in Providence Tower, located in a private New Providence Wharf development just a stone’s throw away from Canary Wharf station and Black Wall. Providence Tower is 43 floors high and is one of the newest and tallest residential towers in London.  It’s right by the Thames waterside and boasts gorgeous views of the skyline of London.  There was nothing better than sipping a glass of champagne from the wrap around balcony on the 40th floor as the sun set.

Living in Providence Tower is the definition of first-class living – the facilities are exceptional featuring a 24-hour concierge, valet service, onsite fitness centre and luxury spa as well as the Sky Lounge, the perfect spot for pre-dinner cocktails with further breathtaking views.

The show apartment was beautifully decorated and we were in awe from the moment we stepped in. Featuring a huge open plan kitchen, decked out with a large marble-topped counter top, sleek fridge, two ovens, a dish washer, a built in coffee machine and a wine cooler – it was the kitchen made of dreams.

There is plenty of space for a large table and is ideal for entertaining and dinner parties.  The lounge area is incredibly spacious as well, featuring a large L-shaped couch, ideal for relaxing after a long day of work. The balcony is incredible, featuring one off of the lounge as well as another off of the guest bedroom.  We could totally envision ourselves sitting outside in the summertime, with a bottle of champagne and taking in the exquisite views of London as the sun sets over the city.  We absolutely did not want to return to reality!

Just off of the lounge lies two large bedrooms – a guest bedroom and master suite.  Both rooms feature spacious built-in wardrobes, ideal for shoppers and plenty of room for a large King size bed.  Each room is also incredibly bright and airy, with large windows and stunning views to wake up to each morning.  We thought ‘we could definitely get used to this!’

There is a beautiful marble bathroom just off the guest bedroom, with a bath tub/shower and a large en-suite in the Master with a separate tub and huge waterfall shower, that is incredibly luxurious.  In the apartment is also a separate laundry room as well as a large storage closet.  It truly has everything you would want in a luxury home.  The interior decor is stunning, with gorgeous furniture, a bold accent walls, comfortable beds and sophisticated accents throughout – it is certainly a home you would be proud to come home to and to welcome guests into!

Living at Providence Tower is also a really accessible location with plenty of transport options.  Residents can travel to the City in just 12 short minutes via Blackwall DLR.  It’s also close to London City Airport and upon cross rail completion, Heathrow Airport will be just a short distance away.

Residential Area

The community surrounding The Providence Tower is incredibly safe and each car needs to go through security prior to entering the development.  The development itself has some fantastic features right on your doorstep, including The Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel, a super cute grab and go coffee shop, a hair dressers, a gym, as well as a lovely walking path right along the river, with views of the O2. The Raddison Blu is ideal for those who want to get a massage after work or on the weekend.  You would barely need to leave your doorstep!  We were treated to a divine couple’s massage, which was absolutely lovely and we spent some time relaxing in the wet spa afterwards.

Canary Wharf

During our staycation, we also had a chance to explore the surrounding area.  I have always been a big fan of Canary Wharf because it has that real New York vibe with its tall buildings and modernised look and feel.  It’s a great area to live for those who work in the area and even for those who don’t.  Living in Canary Wharf is great because while it is still in London, you escape the hustle and bustle that comes with living more Central.  It’s a much more peaceful area with great transport links, so you can travel anywhere more Central in less than 20 minutes.

Canary Wharf has a fantastic shopping centre, filled with more than 300 fantastic shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, all within a 10 minute walk from New Providence Wharf.  We spent our Saturday doing a bit of shopping and grabbed a spot of lunch as well.  There’s also a Cinema and one of London’s biggest rooftop gardens with even more stunning views. We had a great time strolling around the area for the day. There is a leisurely vibe about the area, and it was really relaxing and peaceful. It was a breath of fresh air enjoying some down time without the rush that comes from shopping or even eating at a restaurant in Central London.

Another highlight of Canary Wharf is the huge John Lewis / Waitrose which is only a short walk away.  It has everything you could possibly want – clothes, homewear, groceries, presents, etc.  It’s one of the biggest Waitrose Grocery stores I have ever been to and they deliver.  So, if you don’t want to leave your beautiful flat at Providence Tower, you can have anything you want delivered with the press of a button.

ROKA Canary Wharf

In the evening, we grabbed a short taxi ride back over to Canary Wharf for an incredible dinner at ROKA! The legendary Japanese restaurant that has stolen everyone’s hearts in London is also located just a short 10 minute walk away from Providence Tower, with the backdrop of Canary Wharf’s dramatic city skyline in the background.  It was an incredible way to end our day of indulging and relaxing.

We strolled back to our home away from home for the weekend and sprawled out on the ginormous sofa in the living room and watched a movie.  It was comforting being in such a beautiful and spacious home, for a moment we forgot it wasn’t really ours!  We would gladly live there in a heartbeat.

We absolutely loved staying in Providence Tower and could truly envisage ourselves living in Canary Wharf.  It was fabulous to experience what it would be like to live there first hand, and we have no doubt that it would be an amazing.  There is so much to do in the area and all within short walking distances. It is quiet, peaceful and the true definition of luxury living.

Top Three Floors, the eight new luxury, ready to move in apartments, are located on the top three floors of Providence Tower.  They start at £1,475,000 and comprise of two bedrooms with up to 2,100 sq feet of living space and up to 115 square feet of external terrace space.  These gorgeous homes are designed with quality materials offering the ultimate in luxury living.  Elegant, sophisticated and stylish, we guarantee you will walk in and fall in love at first sight, with not only the apartments, but the area as well.
