Dr Manrina Rhode has been announced as the Dental Award’s ‘Dentist of the Year 2022’. The accolade is awarded to the very best in dentistry in the UK; and her citation celebrates her multiple attributes: that she is a dentist who has an outstanding commitment to patient care, team leadership, clinical excellence, charitable support, and made a significant contribution to the wider profession.

Also named as one of Marie Claire’s 21st Century Women, Dr Manrina was the first dentist to treat patients in both Harvey Nichols and Harrods, and not one to rest on her laurels, she is about to open her own premium practice, the DRMR Clinic, in the Brompton Design District in Knightsbridge (close to the V & A). The new clinic will take a comprehensive approach to mouth, face and body with the premise that the ‘mouth is the gateway to the body’.

Dr Manrina also runs her own training academy and is the only dentist to have been invited to join the Faculty of the UK Association of Plastic Surgeons. She has been recognised in Dentistry Magazine’s Top 50 most influential dentists for three years in a row; is editor of Clinical Dentistry; a judge for many dental awards, and aesthetic dentistry expert for Dentistry.co.uk. A favourite with the media, Dr Manrina regularly joins panel discussions and is BBC Asian Network’s dental expert.
