Sparkling New Menus at Searcys St. Pancras
June 29, 2017
Searcys St. Pancras has your summer dining passport all sorted!
The stunning restaurant upstairs in St. Pancras station is a true hidden gem with some new additions to the menu which have only enhanced an existing delicious choice of dishes.
Express dining for those travelling to Europe is now extra easy thanks to a brand new menu which features icons next to those dishes which can be created in the kitchen in a flash! Healthy, signature and classically 20’s dishes are also flagged up making your ordering even easier, while French diners will be catered for with a French menu on the reverse.
The Searcys St. Pancras kitchen never stops, with innovative themed menus throughout the year. Luxuria Lifestyle were invited to try their amazing Summer Solstice menu created by Head Chef Colin Layfield. Our host Joel Claustre was on hand to ensure we were never without an empty glass in the sumptuous private dining room, starting the evening with a fabulous NV Searcys Selected Cuvée Brut to accompany a mouthwatering Warm Ragstone Goat’s Cheese and Black Olive Parcel.
A classic Prawn Cocktail was followed by a perfectly cooked Cornish Rump of Lamb, accompanied by fresh, delicious artichokes and shallots with rosemary and feta cheese. Our host called it ‘sunshine on a plate’ – a brilliant description of this seasonal plate.
A Floating Island desert enhanced by a gorgeous glass of sweet Moscato was a wonderful end to the meal. Priced at just £70 per head, the Summer Solstice menu is a great indicator of chef’s creativity. Watch out for other special menus throughout the year.
Finally, Fizz & Fish Fridays have been introduced at just £50 per couple. Getting your weekend off to a flying start, the signature Fish Pie with seasonal seafood and two glasses of Searcys Selected Cuvee will provide you with that fabulous Friday feeling.
