The Cawdor – a great little hotel set in the heart of the historic market town of Llandeilo
The Cawdor is a great little hotel set in the heart of the historic market town of Llandeilo. Every bedroom is individually designed blending classic comforts with modern essentials.
It’s hard to miss the bright red exterior of this 18th-century hotel in the market town of Llandeilo. Inside, things are more understated, a mix of old-world charm and modern comforts: inviting sofas in the reception, an open fire and a glass of a local tipple await. Leather sofas and vintage photographs documenting the hotel’s heritage are found in the bar, which is a honeypot for locals at weekends.
Dating from 1765, the Cawdor has been welcoming visitors through its doors for many years. Recently refurbished, the Cawdor retains all the heritage and charm of the original Georgian building, together with the modern comforts and contemporary luxuries of today.
The Cawdor have 24 very comfortable, individually furnished bedrooms and 2 penthouse apartments if you need the extra space for family or friends.
The food at the Cawdor is, whenever possible, Welsh and in season and will always be prepared fresh daily in their kitchen. Food is served in the dining room, bar, Cegin café and outside in the courtyard all depending on your choice of ambience and the weather!
Every bedroom is individually furnished and provides relaxation and comfort for a great night’s sleep.
