There’s so much going on in July, you could literally find something to entertain you every night of the month! We’re rounded up the best events for what’s set to be a sizzling hot start to Summer!
The Chap Olympiad
Bourne & Hollingsworth and The Chap Magazine invite you to the most eccentric garden party around on Saturday 15th July! With drinks aplenty and games to celebrate the weird, wonderful and wacky, this day long celebration of diversity will honour the traditional summer party with a twist – 11 Olympiad games in Bedford Square Gardens. Actively encouraging plenty of alcoholic beverages to get you into the sporting mood, there’ll be live music, workshops and food stalls alongside games such as the Riding Crop Rumpus, Moustache Envy and Fake Trews. BULLDOG Gin and Pikes Hotel Present Ibiza Brunch
Bringing a slice of the White Isle to London, BULLDOG Gin and the infamously cool Pikes Hotel are presenting a series of brunch parties to shake up your summer. Along with Urbanologie, there’ll be Balearic beats blaring out against a backdrop of beautiful people on Saturday 15th July at London’s latest rooftop hotspot – Sisu. Maggie’s Tribute to Madonna
Amazing 80’s inspired club Maggie’s on the legendary King’s Road in Chelsea will be paying tribute to Madonna on 20th July. As Maggie’s fifth tribute event, fans and revellers will get to indulge in Bacardi Mojitos with a fruity twist, whilst getting ‘Into the Groove’ with Madonna tribute act Tasha Leaper. Fancy a weekend away to a secluded party for the ultimate party? The Aperol Spritz Social
Literally one of the summer’s coolest events, the Aperol Spritz Social is bringing a unique rooftop event to the capital alongside a series of pop up bars across the city. Taking the Italian Aperitivo experience to the next level, DJ Norman Jay MBE will be spinning the tunes at Netil 360 in East London on Thursday 13th July. with cicchetti provided by Peckham based Italian dining hall Forza Win, there’ll be special surprises and plenty of delicious food to accompany those Aperol Spritz’s. Celebrate Bastille Day at Tratra
Celebrate France’s National Day with the launch of the ‘Mise en Bouche’ menu at Tratra within Boundary in Shoreditch. With dishes to enjoy ‘before a meal’, the new offering will feature three hors d’oeuvres alongside three matching fine wines from Tratra’s extensive cellar of French bins. Watch Wimbledon on the Big Screen!
Wondering where to watch all the tennis action in the next fortnight? Take advantage of the gorgeous weather outside with the big screen in Broadgate showing all the highlights plus the men’s and women’s finals on the 15th and 16th July. Regent Place Plaza will be showing the Finals from 1pm on 16th July with strawberries and cream on offer to really get into the spirit, while there’s be a giant lawn game in full swing if you’re up for the challenge. There’s also be a special event on 12th July for ‘Wimbledon Wednesday’ with English garden games and swing ball against the backdrop of a brass band. Sheldon Square in Paddington Central will have a tech-twist on the tennis this year with a virtual reality game taking place 13-14th July, along with action on the big screen on the 15th and 16th July.

We’re hoping for great weather for the last weekend in July for Cocktails in the City’s Summer Edition serve! With 25 of London’s coolest cocktail bars popping up in Bedford Square Gardens, Gaucho, Nightjar and London Cocktail Club are just some of the names you’ll recognise. With live music, workshops, street food and DJ’s, you can sip on innovative concoctions and indulge in the world’s newest and most premium spirit and liquer inventions while the sun shines. Celebrate National Daiquiri Day with Bacardi Rum
Join in the fun! Bacardi Rum are celebrating National Daiquiri Day (surely everyone’s favourite cocktail?!) 18th-19th July. Teaming up with DrinkUp.London, a daiquiri will be on hand at each of the hand-picked bar stops. On 18th July, In the Soho tour will travel between 68 & Boston, the Edition’s Lobby Bar (with food) and Cahoots in Kingly Court, while the tour in Shoreditch will take in Bad Sport, food at Lyan and new bar TT Liquor. The New Post-Theatre Dining Menu at Kaspar’s Seafood Bar & Grill at the Savoy
Planning a special night at the theatre? Pre-theatre menus are always a little rushed, but post-theatre menus are most definitely the way forwards! End a lavish night out with a delicious and decadent supper at Kaspar’s Seafood Bar & Grill inside the wonderful Savoy Hotel. A luxurious setting with informal dining on hand to wind down after a brilliant West End show, Kaspar’s have just launched their late night menu with some delicious offerings and last orders at 11pm. With seafood their speciality, we’d recommend the Smoked Mackerel Pate starter served with horseradish, cucumber and brioche, followed by the Baked Lemon Sole which comes with purple potatoes and a sweet corn veloute.
