Dan Doherty Supper Club

Celebrated chef and author Dan Doherty is taking his ‘Sprout’ Supper Club across the UK with Harvey Nichols, hosting a series of special dining experiences starting in Leeds, before moving on to Manchester, Bristol and Birmingham, with each dinner bringing to life the elements to the menu.  A complimentary cocktail made with Silent Pool gin will be followed up by sharing plates including slow cooked lamb shoulder with hot hummus, fried chickpeas and pine nuts, served with purple sprouting broccoli and desserts like pistachio and orange cake.

The three course dinner with complimentary cocktail costs £50 (or brunch in Manchester only for £25 on March 10th)

Madison Launches Mad Lab

The MadLab molecular cocktail masterclasses at Madison London have landed!  The newly launched sessions will see cocktail lovers refining their shaking and bartending skills learning the techniques of carbonation, infusion and foam, whilst creating molecular twists on three delightful Absolut Elyx vodka-based cocktails from a menu of nine.   Groups of eight – 12, priced at £30 per head.  Book tickets here.


Annual Paddy’s Day Party at Pop Brixton!

Pop Brixton will be taking Londoners on a wild trip to the Emerald Isle for their annual St Paddy’s Party, an all-out Irish celebration like no other for St Patrick’s Day on 17th March. The free party will start at 5pm with live music from London’s wildest Ceilidh band, Fiddle Paradiddle, who will be entertaining guests all night, teaching traditional Irish dancing along the way. Gizzi Erskine’s Dining Series at Dalloway Terrace

One of the most instagrammable restaurants in London – Dalloway Terrace is playing host to award winning food writer, TV personality and chef Gizzi Erskine, who has partnered with Tanqueray No.TEN for a series of experimental dining evenings.  Bespoke dishes will be brought to life, complimenting the grapefruit botanicals of the gin and bringing to life seasonal themes and events like Easter, Citrus Summer and World Gin Day.

The Supper Club meanwhile, will be the second event in the Tanqueray No. Ten Table series – an Easter Extravaganza to celebrate Spring with friends, whilst enjoying fresh ingredients, and an Easter themed twist including the ‘Mad as a Hatter’ Tanqueray No. TEN cocktail paired with a four course dinner.  Expect seasonal favourites like Crispy Lamb Belly alongside a selection of delicious vegetarian and vegan options.

London Beer Week at Galvin HOP

Pub Deluxe Galvin HOP are celebrating London Beer Week by offering a pint of Pilsner Urquell and Galvin’s signature Dog Deluxe with chips for only £12.  The signature, full-flavoured Dog Deluxe paired with Galvin HOP’s fresh unpasteurised Pilsner Urquell is a combo not to be missed! The offer will be available all day during London Beer Week from 12-18 March.


W London Hotel Breakfast Launches

The perfect start to the day for the work-hard play-hard Londoner is now available at The Perception within The W London Hotel.  Served in the W Lounge complete with Soho views courtesy of the floor-to-ceiling windows, you can expect healthy dishes and traditional and twisted breakfast staples – think chia seed breakfast bowls, eggs every which way (including fried, with mozzarella, basil and sourdough), and Shakshuka.  There’ll also be Paleo muffins, indulgent red velvet pancakes, fresh breads, croissants, cereals, yoghurts and seasonal fruit, along with smoothies, teas and coffees.

Served Monday to Fridat 6.30am – 10.30am and weekends 7am – 11am priced at £24 per person for the full buffet breakfast experience inclusive of one hot dish from the à la carte menu, or order off the à la carte menu with dishes starting at £10.


108 Pantry

108 Pantry in Marylebone has launched the English Country Garden Afternoon Tea just in time for Spring.  Encapsulating an idyllic country garden setting, the menu will capture the new season.  Highlights include Coronation chicken tartlet, smoked salmon served on Guinness bread; poppy seed and orange blossom and plain homemade scones all served with Devonshire clotted cream and rhubarb jam and orange curd.  Sweets will include lavender panna cotta served with sparkling wine jelly and chocolate and rose opera cake, washed down with rare teas or with a choice of four English sparkling wines, while a special Rhubarb Mimosa cocktail will also be on offer for £11.  A gluten-free Afternoon Tea alternative is available.


The Lumière Expérience at Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester

Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester and William & Son have launched their first collaboration ‘The Lumière Experience’ which is available now, up until the 28th July 2018.

With a luminescent curtain of 4,500 shimmering lights, Table Lumière allows guests to enjoy the ambience and atmosphere of the restaurant, whilst also being screened from view, for the perfect romantic experience.  Enchancing the experience, guests can choose from a selection of vintage chinaware, silverware and crystal glassware to tailor their table setting for a one of a kind bespoke dining experience which will include champagne on arrival and a bespoke five course lunch or dinner created by Executive Chef Jean-Philippe Blondet, while Pastry Chef Thibault Hauchard has carefully crafted dessert.  Price on application.


Lyaness Takeover at Super Lyan

In honour of International Women’s Day on 8th March, Super Lyan General Manager Maja Jaworska has pulled together an all-star cast of female bartenders for a very special ‘Lyaness’ takeover.  The hourly guest shift will see each bartender serving a specially created cocktail with all proceeds from the night going to charity Womankind, a global women’s rights organisation.

On the night, Maja will be joined by new bartender Rachelle Hair who has recently joined from The Baxter Inn, plus Cub restaurant manager Anita O’Connell, while Andrea Montague (Whisky Ambassador, John Dewar & Sons), Georgie Bell (Global Malts Ambassador, Bacardi), Terri Brotherston (Mixxit Ambassador, Maxxium) and Abigail Clephane (Brand Ambassador, Bruichladdich) will all be taking over the guest shifts.  Drinks on the night will include Georgie’s the ‘Nightcap’ made with Aberfeldly 21Y, Pear Liqueur, Dark Cacao Liqueur, Angostura Bitters and Rachelle’s ‘Sour Profile’ with Jameson, Apricot Liqueur, Benedictine, Pineapple Juice, Yuzu Juice, Egg White.  Click here for more info.

Until 11th March TT Liquor is hosting a series of events with FAIR for Fairtrade Fortnight, raising money for the Fairtrade Foundation.  FAIR  – the drinks and spirits company dedicated to ethical business practice have sourced the best ingredients from around the world for their high quality spirits.

With a one off masterclass on 8th March from 7pm priced at £40, guests will be greeted with a FAIR gin and tonic

How about a Michelin-starred feast at Aquavit from two powerhouses of Nordic cuisine?!  On March 13th, Aquavit’s Executive Chef Henrik Ritzén will be joined by Magnus Ek (from Stockholm’s famous Oaxen Krog), for a special menu inspired by their Swedish heritage.

WHAT SHE SAID Talk Series #PressForProgress at The Perception at W London

On Wednesday 7th March from 6.30-9.30pm, The Perception at The W London Hotel will play host to the popular WHAT SHE SAID talk series inviting guests to #PressForProgress’ on the eve of International Women’s Day.  The panel of bold and inspiring women will be chaired by blogger and entrepreneur Freddie Harrel, who will explore the importance and future of female connectivity across fashion, technology, media and philanthropy.  Freddie will be joined by the Global Development & Strategic Engagement Director for mothers2mothers, Emma France, CEO and co-founder of Peanut, Michelle Kennedy, Farfetch’s Chief Strategy Officer, Stephanie Phair and RED Magazine’s Executive Editor, Sarah Tomaczak.

All proceeds will be donated to pioneering NGO, mothers2mothers, to support their mission to create a generation free from HIV.  Tickets for the 50-minute panel followed by Q&As and a cocktail reception in the hotel’s bar and lounge, can be bought here.


Take Residence presents… Food Feels Tour

On 10th March, join James Thompson –  Instagrammer of Food Feels and owner of social influencer agency Social Feels as he hosts a walking tour of Borough Market and the London Bridge area.  Stopping off for fresh produce from local traders like Chegworth Valley from Kent and Ted’s Veg from Lincolnshire, the foodie tour will also stop of at Borough Market favourites such as Bread Ahead Bakery and Richard Haward’s Oysters.  With a visit to Maltby Street Market hidden under the railway arches, followed by samples from stalls such as The Beefsteaks, The Cheese Truck and Bad Brownie, a lunchtime tipple will be enjoyed at Little Bird Gin before ending at Mexican restaurant Santo Remedio.  Book tickets here.
